All ADU projects encounter unexpected costs typically related to the condition of existing infrastructure on the property. These unexpected costs include:
Decommissioning an old cesspool;
Repairing a broken sewer line on the property;
Upgrading the breaker box or electrical wiring in the primary residence;
Relocating existing electrical service based on requirements from local electric utility; or
Upgrading the water service to the property
In each of these situations, Dweller will work with the property owner to identify a solution to the problem and either perform the necessary repairs for an additional cost or identify service providers to perform the work.
